  8. TLCFnd11.exe => TLCFnd
  9. TLCPak10.exe => TLCPak
  10. SFXVBRun.exe => VBRun100.DLL (required for both programs)

  12. Uncompress these files by executing them under DOS.
  13. For example:
  14.    If SFXVBRun.exe is on you A: disk and you may expand the files
  15.    to a temporary directory on C: drive by using the command:
  16.      A:SFXVBRun /ec:\tlcTemp
  17.    will extract the file VBRun100.DLL to drive C: directory TLCTemp.
  18. If you do not have VBRun100.DLL on your computer, uncompress SFXVBRun 
  19. first.  It is required by both TLCFnd and TLCPak.

  21. Uncompress TLCFnd11 and TLCPak10 to the temporary directory.

  23. Install the program "TLCFnd" by running SetUpFnd.bat. 
  24. Install the program "TLCPak" by running SetUpPak.bat.

  26. Delete all files on the temporary directory.

  28. TLCFnd is a file and text search utility for Windows 3.0
  29. (standard or enhanced).   Search  multiple disks and
  30. multiple directories (with or without subdirectories) using
  31. file names with wildcards.   One may search for any file(s)
  32. or only those containing specific text.  The text search may
  33. be case sensitive or insensitive and may be grouped using
  34. three sets of ANDs and OR clauses.  The program includes a
  35. complete On-Line Windows Help system.
  36. After the search is completed, a list of found files are
  37. displayed.  One may then browse through the found files,
  38. search for specific word phrases, copy selected portions of
  39. file, and print selected portions or the full file.

  42. TLCPak is a Windows 3.0 (standard or enhanced) program which may be used 
  43. as a front-end to PKZip or as a stand-alone file compression program.
  44. Most of PKZip's functionallity can be used. eg Select compression method, 
  45. full or minimum path, delete source, encrypt/decrypt, file masking, comments, 
  46. create new directories, overwrite protection, view, and purge.  
  47. The two included compression routines (one optimized for speed and one for 
  48. size) also support the features listed above except for file masking.
